Salmon is a watercolor pencil piece of two salmon resting among some seagrass. Salmon are symbols of Courage, Detachment, Determination, Divination, Emotions, Empathy, Family, Goal Oriented, Hardworking, Home, Insight, Instinct, Intuition, Knowledge, Messages, Passion, Rebirth, Regeneration, Strength, Transformation, and Wisdom.
The piece was created in 2017. It is 16" x 20" on 18" x 24" paper and in a 22" x 26" frame. It took approximately 12.5 hours to complete. I used General's Kimberly watercolor pencils on Canson mixed media paper and then painted over it with water. It has a spray varnish finish. Includes a Certificate of Authenticity.
